Job summary

GoReel is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join the team. You will work on Kubernetes-based infrastructure, Helm chart development, and Terraform-backed backends to support scalable applications.

You will own CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), automate deployments, and ensure reliable, secure delivery across dev, test and prod environments. The role requires collaboration across cross-functional teams and a willingness to learn new technologies.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in DevOps or related roles in fast-paced tech environments.
• Proficiency in Helm Chart development.
• Familiarity with IaC (Terraform) for backend infra.
• Familiarity with GitOps practices.
• Experience with AWS services.
• Experience with configuration management tools.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and best practices.
• Experience with Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaborative work style.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving project needs.
• Experience in Kubernetes (Self Hosted).
• Experience with ArgoCD and its ecosystem.
• 2+ years of Python experience.
• Scripting (Bash) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to develop Helm Charts for applications.
• Contribute to Terraform backend code to ensure scalable infra.
• Configure dev/test/prod apps for performance and reliability.
• Manage releases and deployments smoothly.
• Oversee CI/CD processes, including tests, quality and security checks.
• Streamline Jenkins pipelines for efficiency and reliability.
