Job summary

GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group Company, seeks a Senior C++ Embedded Software Engineer for our Kraków hybrid office. You will contribute to software for a global fleet of connected vehicle devices, enabling real-time monitoring and safe driving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• 5+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Strong C++ programming skills and familiarity with Linux/UNIX.
• Experience with GNU Make and CMake build systems.
• Hands-on OpenEmbedded/Yocto experience.
• Proficient English, written and spoken.
• Hybrid work model from Kraków office.

Senior C++ Embedded Software Engineer IRC307788

At GlobalLogic, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team developing and deploying software solutions for a global fleet of over 650,000 connected devices installed in vehicles worldwide. Our Client is a leading provider of in-cab video safety and telematics solutions. The team develops device software that enables real-time monitoring of driving behavior and environmental conditions, helping customers improve fleet safety and efficiency. You will contribute to solutions involving vehicle connectivity, real-time video access, AI-powered insights from live video, advanced telemetry, vehicle sensors, and integration with onboard vehicle systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in embedded software development.
• Strong programming skills in C++.
• Experience working with Linux/UNIX platforms and shell utilities.
• Hands-on experience with GNU Make and CMake build systems.
• Practical experience with OpenEmbedded/Yocto.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Availability to work in a hybrid model from our Kraków office.
