EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) Poland is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Consultant to join our international team. You will design and implement BI solutions using Microsoft Stack and Azure, building reports, dashboards, data models and governance rules to empower data-driven decisions.

We value hands-on problem solving, strong English, and collaboration with data engineers, project managers and clients worldwide.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial BI experience in similar roles.
• Strong experience with Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience with SQL, SharePoint, flat files, and web sources.
• Understanding relational and dimensional database design.
• Knowledge of governance and data security considerations.
• Experience translating business problems into technical solutions.
• Experience with enterprise-class BI implementations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and self-motivated work style.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Location: Katowice - 2 days in office / 3 days remote

Your Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Business Intelligence Consultant, you are responsible for design and implementation of the solutions that enable our clients and business partners taking efficient decisions with ease. You are able to design, implement and deploy reports, dashboards, data models and access rules for end users.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 3+ years of commercial experience in similar role
• Strong experience with Power BI or Tableau
• Experience in using various data sources, e.g. SQL, Sharepoint, flat files, web sources.
• Strong experience in and understanding of relational and dimensional databases design and implementation.
• Understanding of the importance of governance and security rules when handling data
• Experience in converting business problems/challenges to technical solutions considering security, performance, scalability etc.
• Experience in enterprise-class solution implementations
• Flexible and proactive/self-motivated working style with strong personal ownership of problem resolution excellent inter-personal skills
• Very good English (verbal and written)

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Communicative level in one of following: French (preferably)/German/Spanish (verbal and written)
• Experience in using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
• Experience in developing ETL in Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Informatica, MS Fabric etc.
• Experience in another BI tool like Qlik Sense, SAP BO, Cognos, OBIEE
• Experience in BI/ETL tools on Azure/GCP/AWS cloud
• Experience in other RDBMS like Oracle, DB2, Teradata
• Experience with data lakes
• Experience with real-time data processing and data warehousing aggregation
