We are looking for a Business Analyst to engage with clients, analyze current processes for optimization, and document comprehensive requirements tailored to client needs.

Responsibilities

• Utilize various techniques to elicit project requirements
• Define business goals, needs, and objectives
• Perform data analysis to align features with product goals and maximize potential solution value
• Convert business needs into functional, non-functional, and transitional requirements
• Create epics, use cases, and user stories, including detailed acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with stakeholders, SMEs, development, and QA teams
• Plan the business analysis approach for the project
• Act as a Scrum Master when necessary
• Conduct technical interviews for Business Analyst positions
• Mentor and coach Business Analysts within the organization

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst, with hands-on experience in creating and managing different types of requirements (functional, non-functional, transitional)
• Openness to working in a hybrid mode from one of the companys offices, with strong self-management skills and the ability to take responsibility for subsystems or entire projects without supervision
• Industry experience in domains such as finance, life sciences, healthcare, or oil & gas, and familiarity with domain-specific challenges
• Proficiency in performing requirements elicitation activities using various techniques and identifying inconsistencies within project requirements
• Competence in planning the Business Analysis approach on projects, creating/adapting project documentation templates, and facilitating communication with stakeholders
• Strong working knowledge of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) or classic frameworks (e.g., Waterfall), with the ability to influence or enhance software development processes when needed
• Experience in organizing and facilitating meetings or workshops with clients to gather and clarify requirements effectively
• Proficiency in creating epics, use cases, or user stories (including acceptance criteria) using structured BA documentation approaches
• Ability to create diagrams such as UML or BPMN and participate in UX/UI design discussions to ensure alignment with business needs
• Basic proficiency with AI tools, along with prior experience in leveraging AI-based solutions or supporting related development
• Capability to manage the scope of requirements within a project, recognize potential scope creep risks, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to mitigate them
• Experience in contributing to solution testing or UAT (user acceptance testing), ensuring that solutions meet business needs and goals
• Proven ability to coach, mentor, or guide other Business Analysts and conduct technical interviews for BA positions when necessary
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and synthesizing skills, combined with the ability to effectively communicate in complex, multi-cultural, and geographically distributed team environments
• Full English language proficiency (minimum C1 level) for reading, writing, and speaking with customers, as well as for producing high-quality, unambiguous documentation

Nice to have

• Background in engineering or computer science education
• Experience in developing AI-powered solutions and products
• Skills in facilitating requirements estimation across project stages, including RFPs, with multiple estimation techniques
• Background in SQL
• Certification in areas of Business Analysis, Scrum Master or Product Owner
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Visio
