Overview

The main goal of this Role is to remove legacy code and align CI solutions between different generations of Infotainment products to simplify maintenance by reducing technical debt in CI pipelines.

Requirements

Main skill set:

  • Hands-on experience with Azure (preferably) or AWS, at least 5 years
  • Automation solution: Jenkins, Git
  • Scripting (strong level): PowerShell, Bash, Apache Groovy, Python
  • Agile development methodology: Scrum, Scaled Agile, Kanban
  • Experience with Gerrit
  • Experience with NoSQL DB(MongoDB, ElasticSearch, etc.)
  • Technical engineering degree (Preferably in the domain of software or systems engineering)
  • Strong knowledge in Object Oriented Programming Principles
  • Strong communication, multitasking, problem-solving, and planning skills.

Would be a plus:

  • Experience in embedded(automotive) development
  • Know the basics of automotive (or similar) functional safety standards (ISO26262)
  • Know the basics of any industry standard that provides a framework for defining, implementing, and evaluating the process required for system development (in automotive - ASPICE)
Job responsibilities
  • Spearhead the removal of legacy code and refactoring initiatives to streamline system performance, improve maintainability, and support future scalability.
  • Systematically reduce technical debt by introducing automation, standardizing configurations, and applying best practices across infrastructure and codebases.
  • Ensure development and operations teams fully align with existing CI/CD solutions, fostering consistent, reliable, and secure software delivery.
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust Jenkins pipelines, optimizing build, test, and deployment stages for faster and more dependable release cycles.
  • Collaborate closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to enhance CI/CD workflows, enforce automation standards, and ensure high system availability.
  • Monitor and analyze CI pipeline performance, implementing improvements to eliminate bottlenecks and enhance fault tolerance.
  • Advocate for infrastructure as code (IaC) practices and contribute to adopting modern DevOps tools and frameworks.
