Job summary

Wärtsilä is seeking a Senior BI Developer in Gdańsk, Poland for a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will join the Finance & Control BI team to develop, maintain and support global BI applications and ensure the underlying data pipeline delivers accurate reporting to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate holds a MSc/BSc in Economics, Accounting or Computer Science, brings 5+ years of BI experience with Power BI and Fabric, and has hands-on Databricks expertise.

Qualifications

• On-site work at the Gdańsk offices is required.
• MSc/BSc in Economics, Financial Accounting, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience developing complex BI applications with Power BI and Fabric.
• Hands-on dataflow/modeling with Databricks or similar platforms.
• Ability to work independently with strong project management skills.
• Pro-active, analytical, systematic and organised approach.
• Excellent customer service skills and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and support Wärtsilä's global Finance & Control BI applications.
• Collaborate with FDACC team members and stakeholders to ensure optimal data pipelines and accurate reporting.
• Assist in BI process development and implement standardized best practices and Wärtsilä Way of working.
