State Street Corporation in Kraków invites a Data Steward to implement governance, data quality controls, and reporting aligned with BCBS 239 standards. You will maintain data catalogs, ensure data lineage, and support business owners in risk and finance data management.

You will work with BI tools like Power BI, collaborate with data providers and consumers, and contribute to ongoing process improvements while ensuring compliance and data quality across multiple domains.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of data management concepts, principles and practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to influence staff and customers.
• Hands-on SME level knowledge of data sets relevant for BU.
• Ability to understand data models, taxonomy, and data quality standards.
• Proficiency in English.

Responsabilités

• Maintaining and developing Data Quality Framework for Risk, Finance and Treasury.
• Maintain data dictionary aligned to enterprise glossary to ensure data context and meaning is clear to Data Consumers and other stakeholders.
• Manage Data Provider/Consumer relationships and confirm that data is fit for purpose.
• Engage Business Owners to verify that operational controls are documented to mitigate data quality risks.
• Capture technical metadata and associate physical data structures to business data element definitions within the Data Catalog.
• Ensure that application data lineage is accurate and updated in the Data Catalog.
• Participate in data integration projects to ensure data quality and Data Catalog updates.
• Drive resolution of data quality issues with stakeholders and experts.
• Participate in end-to-end Data Quality testing.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity.
