Job summary

Ryanair Engineering is recruiting a Base Maintenance Manager (Lead) to join Europe’s largest airline group’s Engineering team. This senior role oversees base maintenance across multiple heavy maintenance locations, ensuring safety, compliance, and high performance.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in base/heavy maintenance within a Part-145 environment.
• Proven leadership experience managing multi-site or distributed teams.
• Strong understanding of EASA Part-145 and MOE requirements.
• Track record of delivering operational performance in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Flexible approach with the ability to travel frequently across bases.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all Base Maintenance Managers across the network, driving performance and accountability across each location.
• Ensure all maintenance is delivered and certified in accordance with MOE and Part-145 requirements.
• Maintain the highest standards of safety, compliance, and workmanship across all bases.
• Oversee manpower planning, resource allocation, and production delivery across multiple sites.
• Liaise with CAMO representatives, suppliers, and internal stakeholders on maintenance planning and defect resolution.
• Own safety performance, including risk management, occurrence reporting, and human factors.
