Job summary

Framna ApS is building a next‑generation, passwordless authentication platform used by millions, leveraging biometrics to secure digital identities and seamless access.

You will join a collaborative team in Gdańsk, working in a hybrid model with regular in‑studio collaboration, ownership of the end‑to‑end solutions, and a focus on delivering real user value.

This role emphasizes strong backend skills, modern web technologies, and a culture of open feedback and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience building production backend services at scale.
• Strong knowledge of Scala. (Experience with Node.js is a significant advantage.)
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript and React.
• Good understanding of functional programming concepts, such as pure functions, composition, and algebraic data types.
• Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL).
• Experience using AI tools to support coding, testing, documentation, and team collaboration.
• Good knowledge of HTTP, REST APIs, and modern web communication patterns
• Experienced working with cloud environments and containers (AWS / GCP / Azure, Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience with testing approaches and tools across backend.
• Confidence working across the stack and taking ownership of solutions.
• Very good communication skills in English and Polish.

Preferred skills & qualifications
