Job summary

Nigel Frank International is looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to help develop secure, cloud-native applications and microservices; you will contribute to a major modernization of an IAM platform and ensure resilience at scale.

Responsibilities include designing and maintaining backend microservices with Node.js and TypeScript, building serverless solutions on AWS, implementing test automation, and collaborating with engineers, architects and SREs to uphold code quality and production

Qualifications

5+ years’ experience in backend or full-stack software development.
Hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
Experience with AWS cloud services and distributed systems.
Test automation using Jest, Postman or Playwright.
Knowledge of CI/CD and production deployment practices.
Fluency in Polish and English.
IAM/CIAM, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and JWT.
Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK or Terraform).
Kubernetes, Grafana, Prometheus or Loki.
Backend experience with Java or Python.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain backend microservices using Node.js and TypeScript.
Build serverless solutions using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB and EventBridge.
Develop automated integration and end-to-end tests.
Contribute to IAM services, identity platform migration and secure third-party integrations.
Maintain production applications and support continuous delivery.
Collaborate with engineers, architects and SRE specialists on technical design and code quality.
