ARQ is a fast-growing fintech redefining how people move money across borders. We seek a Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems powering our innovative products.

You’ll work on greenfield development, REST APIs, and microservices with a Java/Spring Boot stack, using TDD, DDD, and CI/CD to ensure quality and rapid delivery. Join a world-class team shaping the fintech landscape in a global market.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in backend development with fluency in Java.
• Bachelor's Degree (or above) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related disciplines.
• Quick learner with ambitious and results-driven personality; strong communication (English fluency).
• Track record of building complex products used by millions in hypergrowth startups.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems.
• Build REST APIs and microservices; evolve critical systems (e.g., payments, treasury, transactions).
• Work with Java 25 on the backend using Postgres; leverage Spring Boot for delivery.
• Follow clean code principles with TDD, DDD and CI/CD practices.
