Job summary

Backbase in Kraków is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Business Banking tribe. You’ll contribute to the Digital Banking Platform, own features from idea to release, and collaborate with architects, QA engineers and teammates to align with our technical vision.

You should have solid Java experience, Spring and microservices, and be comfortable with CI/CD, relational databases and cloud deployments. English communication is essential, and banking/FinTech experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Solid background in software development including design.
• Clear and confident communication across all levels with stakeholders.
• Experience in banking or Fintech is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring, and data-base technologies.
• Proficient with microservices, Cloud and Tomcat; Enterprise Integration Patterns.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to new and existing functionalities for the Digital Banking Platform.
• Own features from idea to release and ensure quality through the SDLC.
