Intent is seeking a freelance Senior Backend Developer to join IoT projects on a 100% remote basis. The role offers a B2B contract with a monthly net salary of 15,000–25,000 PLN, and core hours 10:00–18:00 CET.

You’ll work on scalable backend and cloud solutions using Node.js, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and MQTT. Flexible schedules, client meetings a few times per week, and ongoing knowledge-sharing initiatives are part of the role.

Responsibilities

We’re currently seeking a passionate freelance Senior Backend Developer to join our projects ASAP. As a freelancer cooperating with intent, you'll have the opportunity to work on diverse IoT projects, leveraging your expertise in backend and cloud technologies.

About intent

intent has over 10+ years of experience in conceptualizing, designing, and building apps for IoT and connected devices. We act as a specialized think partner for products at the intersection of physical and digital (such as wearables and IoT), working with companies like Oura, BOSE, and McIntosh audio systems.

Strong experience with AWS services (EKS, S3, Aurora, DynamoDB, Timestream, EMR).

Experience with Node.js.

Proficiency in Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, and Terraform for infrastructure management.

Experience with MQTT for messaging protocols.

Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab.

Advanced knowledge of backend development, cloud architecture, and distributed systems.

15-25K PLN net on a B2B contract (depending on experience).

100% remote work & flexible working hours with core hours between 10:00 and 18:00 CET, with some client meetings scheduled up to 20:00 CET (approx. 2 per week).
