Job summary

EPAM Systems in Poland seeks a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to join the Enterprise Pipeline Workflow Enablement team and build scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and IaC practices. You will influence cloud platform design and operational uptime while collaborating with a NWoW-focused Full-Stack team.

The role requires strong AWS experience (CloudFormation/EC2/Lambda), TypeScript expertise, and English at B2 level or higher. Kubernetes/Terraform knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOps.
• Strong understanding of core cloud infrastructure and platform concepts.
• Expertise with CI/CD tooling, especially GitHub Actions.
• Hands-on AWS services: CloudFormation, EC2, Lambda.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code development and maintenance.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Nice to have Kubernetes, Terraform and Docker knowledge.
• Familiarity with Open Policy Agent (OPA) and monorepo orchestration.
• Background in Java, Python or Bash.
• Familiarity with Atlassian Confluence and Jira.
• Understanding of Cloud Operations and Network Administration.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and deploy cloud platforms to meet business needs.
• Identify and implement opportunities for improvements.
• Develop and maintain strategies to maximize operation uptime and system stability.
• Track system performance and address issues proactively.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Support infrastructure-as-code across cloud environments.
• Collaborate with the Full-Stack team to integrate server-side solutions.
