Job summary

GlobalLogic Inc. in Szczecin seeks a Senior AUTOSAR & Telematics Software Engineer to join our Automotive team. You will contribute to cutting-edge connected-vehicle and telematics solutions, integrating AUTOSAR MCAL with NAD and developing components in C for embedded systems.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in C for automotive embedded systems.
• Hands-on AUTOSAR Classic architecture experience.
• Experience with Aurix microcontrollers and related tools.
• Python scripting for build, code generation and config automation.
• Familiarity with Automotive Ethernet, UDS/ISO 14229, and E-Call.
• Understanding multi-core/multi-processor architectures with embedded Linux NAD.
• Proficient in Git for version control.

Responsibilities

• Integrate Aurix MCAL with Vector Microsar OS using Tresos and DaVinci.
• Develop AUTOSAR Classic SWCs in C per customer specs.
• Design and maintain Python scripts for ARXML parsing and config generation.
• Collaborate on TCU firmware for telematics features and OTA updates.
• Configure SWCs within Vector ecosystem and NAD with embedded Linux.
• Debug on Aurix hardware using winIDEA; resolve inter-processor issues.
• Support testing of Automotive Ethernet, E-Call, and diagnostic protocols.
• Maintain technical docs for integration setups and config changes.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior AUTOSAR & Telematics Software Engineer to join our Automotive team. If you are an analytical person with strong problem-solving skills, able to work both independently and as part of a team, this opportunity is for you! Requirements:

• Embedded C: Strong proficiency in C programming for automotive embedded systems.
• AUTOSAR Classic: Hands‑on experience with AUTOSAR Classic architecture, including BSW, RTE, SWC integration, and ARXML workflows.
• Hardware & Tooling: Experience with Infineon Aurix microcontrollers, Infineon Tresos, Vector DaVinci Configurator/Developer, and debugging via iSYSTEM winIDEA.
• Automation: Practical Python scripting skills for build, code generation, and configuration automation.
• Networking & Diagnostics: Familiarity with Automotive Ethernet, automotive diagnostics (e.g., UDS/ISO 14229), and E‑Call functionality.
• System Architecture: Understanding of multi‑core/multi‑processor architectures, specifically Aurix microcontroller interfacing with an embedded Linux NAD.
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git.

Job responsibilities:

• AUTOSAR & MCAL Integration: Integrate the Infineon Aurix MCAL layer with Vector Microsar OS using Infineon Tresos and Vector DaVinci Configurator/Developer.
• Feature Implementation: Develop AUTOSAR Classic software components in C according to customer specifications and system architecture (e.g., System Monitoring).
• Automation & Tooling: Design and maintain Python scripts to automate ARXML parsing, configuration generation, and source code generation.
• TCU System Development: Collaborate on TCU firmware development supporting telematics features, remote services, and Over‑The‑Air (OTA) updates.
• Component & IPC Integration: Configure and integrate Software Components (SWCs) within the Vector ecosystem, ensuring reliable communication with the Network Access Device (NAD) running embedded Linux.
• On‑Target Debugging: Debug software on Aurix hardware using winIDEA; analyze and resolve integration issues across MCAL, OS, and inter‑processor communication interfaces.
• Testing & Diagnostics Support: Assist with the verification and testing of Automotive Ethernet communication, E‑Call services, and diagnostic protocols (UDS).
• Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Maintain technical documentation for integration setups and configuration changes, sharing insights across the engineering team.
