Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a Senior AUTOSAR Software Engineer (Developer Safety) in Kraków to design, configure, and integrate low-level software for next‑generation ECUs. You will work on BSW, MCAL, and SWCs, aligning with ASPICE processes, ISO 26262, and cybersecurity standards while collaborating with hardware teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on embedded C development, AUTOSAR Classic configuration, MCAL and ECU platform work on modern microcontrollers such as Aurix TC3xx.

Qualifications

• Strong, hands-on C programming for real-time embedded systems.
• Experience configuring and integrating AUTOSAR Classic BSW.
• Hands-on with automotive MCUs (Aurix TC3xx).
• Experience with ASPICE processes and ISO 26262 safety.
• Proficient with automotive diagnostic/tools and version control.

Responsibilities

• Configure, develop, and integrate AUTOSAR Classic BSW modules and MCAL drivers.
• Develop and integrate SWCs for embedded ECUs.
• Write MISRA-C compliant code and perform unit/integration tests.
• Maintain traceability from requirements to code in line with SWE.1-SWE.3.
• Investigate defects, participate in code reviews, and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement safety mechanisms and memory protection in line with ISO 26262.

Senior AUTOSAR Software Engineer (Developer Safety) IRC307459

We are looking for an AUTOSAR Embedded Software Developer with hands-on experience in Classic AUTOSAR software stack implementation and ECU platform development to design, configure, and integrate low-level software components for a next-generation Zone Controller Platform. In this role, you will develop and integrate Basic Software (BSW), Microcontroller Abstraction Layer (MCAL), and Application Software Components (SWCs), ensuring full adherence to ASPICE software development processes, functional safety (ISO 26262), and cybersecurity standards.

Requirements

• Embedded C Development: Strong, hands-on proficiency in C programming for real-time embedded systems and microcontrollers.
• AUTOSAR Classic Experience: Practical experience configuring and integrating AUTOSAR Classic BSW stacks (Siemens VSTAR / CVI or Vector AUTOSAR DaVinci Configurator/Developer).
• Hardware & Microcontrollers: Hands-on experience with automotive microcontrollers (such as Infineon Aurix TC3xx).
• Process Standards (ASPICE & Safety): Practical experience working within ASPICE software engineering processes and ISO 26262 functional safety requirements.
• Development & Diagnostic Tools: Experience using automotive diagnostic/testing tools (CANoe, CANalyzer), debuggers (TRACE32/Lauterbach), and version control systems (Git, Gerrit).
• Software Safety & MPU Configuration: Hands-on experience configuring hardware Memory Protection Units (e.g., Aurix TC3xx MPU), OS memory protection, and E2E/WdgM safety stacks under ISO 26262 guidelines.

Job responsibilities

• AUTOSAR Software Development & Integration: Configure, develop, and integrate AUTOSAR Classic BSW modules, MCAL drivers, and Application Software Components (SWCs) for embedded automotive ECUs.
• Software Design & Verification: Write clean, MISRA-C compliant embedded software, perform unit and integration testing, and debug software issues on target hardware benches and simulators.
• Process & Quality Compliance: Develop software according to ASPICE (SWE.1 to SWE.3) software engineering lifecycle requirements, maintaining full requirement-to-code traceability.
• Defect Resolution & Continuous Integration: Investigate and resolve software defects, participate in code reviews, and integrate software builds into automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Safety Mechanism Implementation: Implement and configure software safety mechanisms, including MPU memory partitioning, Freedom from Interference (FFI) enforcement, Watchdog Manager (WdgM), and End-to-End (E2E) communication wrappers.
• Safety-Critical Partitioning: Configure OS application partitions, memory protection rules, and bus protection mechanisms on multi-core microcontroller platforms to support ASIL D compliance.
