Job summary

GlobalLogic Inc. in Krakow is seeking a Mid-Level AUTOSAR Embedded Software Engineer to design, configure, and integrate BSW, MCAL drivers, and SWCs for a next-generation Zone Controller Platform.

You will join a multidisciplinary software team, write MISRA-C-compliant code, configure AUTOSAR stacks, and verify modules on target microcontrollers in line with ASPICE and ISO 26262 standards.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on automotive embedded software development for ECU platforms.
• Strong C programming skills for real-time embedded systems and microcontrollers.
• Experience configuring AUTOSAR Classic BSW stacks using VSTAR/CVI or Vector DaVinci.

Responsibilities

• Configure and integrate AUTOSAR Classic BSW modules, MCAL drivers, and SWCs.
• Write MISRA-C-compliant embedded C code for Diagnostics, Communication Stacks, or Mode Management.
• Perform unit testing (ASPICE SWE.4) and integration testing on target MCUs.
• Maintain requirement-to-code traceability per ASPICE SWE.1–SWE.3.
• Investigate issues, deliver fixes, and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Configure AUTOSAR Mode Management components (BswM, EcuM, ComM).
• Implement power management and state transitions for vehicle wake/sleep cycles.

AUTOSAR Embedded Software Engineer IRC307456

We are looking for a Mid-Level AUTOSAR Embedded Software Engineerto join our team in Krakow to design, configure, and integrate Basic Software (BSW), MCAL drivers, and Application Software Components (SWCs) for a next-generation Zone Controller Platform.

In this role, you will work within a multidisciplinary software team, writing MISRA-C-compliant code, configuring AUTOSAR stacks, and verifying software modules on target microcontrollers in accordance with ASPICE development processes and ISO 26262 functional safety standards.

Requirements

• Role & Industry Experience: 2-4 years of hands-on experience in automotive embedded software development for ECU platforms.


• Embedded C Proficiency: Strong C programming skills for real-time embedded systems, microcontrollers, and low-level software architectures.


• AUTOSAR Classic Experience: Practical experience configuring and integrating AUTOSAR Classic BSW stacks using Siemens VSTAR/CVI or the Vector AUTOSAR DaVinci suite.


• Hardware & Driver Knowledge: Solid understanding of automotive microcontrollers, such as Infineon AURIX TC3xx, and peripheral hardware interfaces (CAN, Ethernet, SPI).


• Process & Quality Standards: Working knowledge of ASPICE software lifecycle processes and ISO 26262 functional safety development requirements.


• Development & Debugging Tools: Hands-on experience with automotive testing and diagnostic tools (CANoe, CANalyzer), hardware debuggers (TRACE32/Lauterbach), and version control systems (Git, Gerrit).

Job responsibilities

• AUTOSAR Component Configuration & Development: Configure and integrate AUTOSAR Classic BSW modules, MCAL drivers, and Application Software Components (SWCs) according to system requirements.


• Embedded C Implementation: Write clean, efficient, MISRA-C-compliant embedded C code for assigned functional modules, such as Diagnostics, Communication Stacks, Mode Management, or I/O Abstraction.


• Software Verification & Debugging: Perform unit testing (ASPICE SWE.4) and integration testing on target microcontrollers and evaluation benches, diagnosing software bugs and analyzing log traces.


• Process & Traceability Adherence: Maintain full requirement-to-code traceability and document software designs in accordance with ASPICE (SWE.1 to SWE.3) quality guidelines.


• Defect Resolution & CI/CD Support: Investigate reported software issues, deliver bug fixes, participate in peer code reviews, and integrate software builds into automated CI/CD pipelines.


• State Machine & Mode Configuration: Configure and develop AUTOSAR Mode Management components (BswM, EcuM, ComM) to manage ECU startup, shutdown, reset, and partial networking state transitions.


• Power & Vehicle State Handling: Implement complex BswM action rules and power management modes to safely handle vehicle sleep/wake cycles and voltage degradation states.
