Job summary

Jacobs in Kraków is seeking an experienced Autodesk support specialist to resolve issues for Forma users and related apps. You will document defects, provide timely guidance, and contribute to the knowledge base, enabling teams to optimize workflows across BIM platforms.

The role requires 8+ years in the AEC industry, deep BIM knowledge, and a strong ownership mindset to troubleshoot and mitigate problems. Hybrid work with flexible hours is offered, along with extensive employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in the AEC industry.
• Expertise with Autodesk Forma and several design/applications.
• Strong knowledge of BIM standards and workflows.
• Ability to own problems, troubleshoot, and propose solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient assistance to colleagues with tools and plugins.
• Create knowledge base articles for solutions and workarounds.
• Escalate critical issues and monitor service levels.
• Triage issues to the correct support queues.
• Document support interactions in the case management system.
• Perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Escalate to senior staff when needed and manage Autodesk tickets.
• Manage team backlog and communicate progress to users.
• Participate in internal communities and platform meetings.

Your impact

Responsibilities

• Resolve issues for Autodesk product users, particularly in Forma services.
• Research, verify, and document product defects
• Provide prompt, and efficient assistance to team members with a problem with their tools and 3rd party applications & plugins.
• Research, verify, and document product issues, solution in short and clear articles for our Knowledge Base
• Priority handling and escalation of critical issues and monitoring of service level compliance
• Perform Triage of issue to make sure it is in the correct support queue
• Document support interactions in a company-wide case management system
• Perform root cause analysis to mitigate recurrence
• Escalate customer issues to senior staff if required, or enter and resolve Autodesk tickets
• Manage team backlog of support requests
• Manage user expectations by providing updates on progress
• Participate in internal Communities of Practice, global platform meetings and lending your expertise to teams for software utilization and workflow guidance

Here's what you'll need

• Experience working directly with architects, engineers and designers from all disciplines.
• At least 8 years of AEC industry working experience
• Product Expertises – Autodesk Forma and at least three or more apps such as - Autocad, Revit, Civil 3D, Plant 3D, Navisworks, Innovyze apps etc. Imaginit Clarity, Revizto, Application Licensing, MS Windows
• Knowledge of BIM Standards and workflows
• Willingness to "own" the problem (user issue), troubleshoot and ability to solve or mitigate the problem
• Work in flexible working hours in a Hybrid work culture
• Identify workflow issues if a user could perform the task with another tool or method to produce a similar result.
• Verify product issues, by utilizing diagnostic tools, reading product documentation and forums
• Availability to work afternoon hours, from 100 PM to 900 PM (Poland time).
