A leading company in financial services is seeking a Senior Associate for Fund/Client Accounting in Wrocław. Senior Associate, Fund/Client Accounting

  1. Conduct accounting services for assigned clients and moderately complex funds, including determining net asset values, calculating fund performance, allocating expenses, and preparing reports.
  2. Perform complex Fund/Client Accounting responsibilities, focusing on service improvement, efficiency, process enhancement, and review functions.
  3. Contribute to methodologies and review work of junior team members.
  4. Guide and review cash and asset reconciliations for complex accounts or transactions.
  5. Resolve account reconciliations for complex or atypical transactions and review junior staff work.
  6. Draft client reports on complex fund performance and review reports prepared by junior staff.
  7. Interact regularly with clients to address questions and resolve issues related to fund reports and accounting processes.
  8. Assist in evaluating GAAP and IFRS regulations and assess their impact on fund accounting practices.
  9. Provide guidance to less experienced team members and potentially have people management responsibilities in some regions.
  10. Support team objectives and contribute to overall team success.
  11. Require a Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
  12. Preferably have 5 years of relevant work experience, including fund accounting or related areas such as transfer agency, corporate trust, financial reporting, audit, or reconciliations.
  13. Experience with Private Equity, Credit Funds, or Bank Loans is advantageous.
  14. Possess good leadership and supervisory skills; people management experience is a plus.
  15. Experience with Geneva and/or Investran platforms is beneficial.
  16. Demonstrate highly developed interpersonal skills and business English proficiency.
