Job summary

Nourish is seeking a Senior API Developer to help transition our platform from PHP Symfony to Go, build a new Vue.js front end, and own API reliability within a Docker/Kubernetes environment. You will join a 80-engineer ecosystem and collaborate with Product/Design on scalable care solutions.

You should have 5+ years in full stack development, Go and Vue/React experience, and comfort with AWS, SQL, Git, Linux, and Agile processes.

Qualifications

• Significant commercial full stack development experience (typically 5+ years).
• Commercial experience with Go and Vue/React plus familiarity with PHP or Symfony to support legacy transition work, AWS services, Git, Linux CLI, and SQL databases.
• Experience in Agile teams using Scrum or Kanban, unit testing, and at least one other language.
• AI-assisted development experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, build, and improve the Empower API.
• Lead or contribute to migrating legacy Symfony functionality to Go.
• Build the new Vue.js front end as part of the migration from Drupal.
• Work in an Agile team to deliver improvements to our software solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and meet sprint goals as a team.
• Analyze logs and metrics to improve systems and help partners use APIs.
• Support client-facing colleagues to diagnose issues.
• Mentor team members through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
