Job summary

Xebia is seeking a seasoned Android developer to design, build, and maintain mobile applications using Java and Kotlin. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, user-focused features, contributing to architecture decisions, and integrating with backend services to ensure robust app performance.

You should have 6+ years of Android development experience, strong Android SDK and Kotlin skills, knowledge of Java, and familiarity with RESTful APIs and gRPC.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional Android development
• Strong knowledge of the Android SDK
• Proficiency in Kotlin
• Solid Java knowledge
• Experience with RESTful APIs and gRPC
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
• Experience using AI-powered assistants (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve productivity
• Work from the European Union region and a valid work permit is required

• Designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications using Java and Kotlin
