Job summary

GlobalLogic Inc. is seeking an experienced Android Automotive Platform Lead to own and advance an Android-based infotainment platform. You will drive BSP integration, AOSP work, and embedded Linux stability while interfacing with OEM customers and leading complex issue resolution.

You will guide platform upgrades, security updates, and architecture discussions, collaborating with engineering teams to deliver reliable releases and define mitigation strategies across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of embedded software development experience.
• 5+ years Android platform development experience.
• Experience leading technical discussions with OEMs or Tier-1 customers.
• Experience supporting software maintenance and production programs.
• Hands-on with AOSP and BSP integration in automotive infotainment.

Responsibilities

• Own the Android infotainment platform health, stability and evolution.
• Lead BSP and Android platform maintenance activities.
• Analyze, debug and resolve complex platform-level issues.
• Drive OS upgrades, security updates and platform enhancements.
• Act as primary technical interface with the OEM customer.
• Lead technical discussions on platform issues and improvements.
• Provide impact assessments, recommendations and proposals.
• Participate in customer reviews and defect triaging.
• Lead investigation of field issues and RCA.
• Coordinate fixes and releases with engineering teams.
• Review solutions, patches and code changes before production.
• Identify risks and define mitigation strategies.
