Job summary

Aptiv is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer for its Krakow engineering center to develop perception, environment understanding, prediction and planning for automotive applications. You will drive ML/AI system design, collaborate with global teams and mentor engineers to advance ADAS and automated parking technologies.

Strong background in CV/3D perception, transformer models and production ML, with hands-on Python/C++ and PyTorch experience, is essential.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, ML, CV, Robotics or related field.
• Extensive experience shipping ML solutions in production.
• Expertise in computer vision, 3D perception, and transformer-based models.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of ML solutions for perception, prediction, and planning.
• Define architecture and algorithms for complex AI/ML systems.
• Define approaches for computer vision and multi-modal sensor fusion.
• Guide data pipelines, model training, and deployment.
• Mentor engineers and support team growth.
• Establish evaluation methodologies and production targets.
• Collaborate with global teams and contribute to roadmaps.
• Drive continuous improvement of algorithms and practices.
