Job summary

Kake is a remote-first, people-first global community of senior engineers. We are seeking Senior AI/LLM Engineers with strong Python and experience in productionizing LLM-powered applications at scale.

Join a fast-moving, globally distributed team that ships features end-to-end and collaborates across disciplines. You’ll design and deploy LLM-powered features, build robust backend services, and optimize RAG pipelines.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in Python and backend development for AI-powered features.
• Experience with LLM APIs and integration of AI services.
• Hands-on with RAG architectures, embeddings, and vector databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy LLM-powered features and applications using Python.
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs exposing AI capabilities.
• Build and optimize RAG pipelines and vector search solutions.
• Iterate on prompts, agents, and orchestration using LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.
• Integrate with LLM providers (OpenAI/Anthropic) and manage cost, latency, and quality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to turn product needs into AI solutions.
