Capgemini Invent in Warsaw is seeking a Senior AI Governance Strategist to help clients define, govern and scale responsible AI adoption across business functions. You will work with executives, risk, data teams and engineers to shape governance frameworks and assurance programs for traditional and generative AI.

You will lead governance engagements, design operating models, and align with ISO/IEC 42001 and EU AI Act requirements while guiding teams and client relationships in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• 7+ years in AI governance, risk or strategy.
• Deep knowledge of EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001 and NIST AI RMF.
• Experience leading engagements or teams in a consulting setting.
• Fluent in English; French or German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI governance engagements: maturity assessment, policy, operating model and roadmap.
• Design and roll out AI management systems with certification readiness.
• Coordinate EU AI Act programmes across portfolios and risk classifications.

Working with executives, technology leaders, risk functions, and data teams, you will shape AI strategies that balance innovation, compliance, and business value. You will play a key role in helping clients navigate the rapidly evolving AI landscape while establishing robust governance frameworks for both traditional and Generative AI solutions.## **Your tasks*** Lead AI governance strategy engagements: maturity assessment, AI risk appetite and policy, target operating model, roadmap and business case.* Design and roll out AI management systems aligned with ISO/IEC 42001, up to certification readiness.* Run EU AI Act programmes across portfolios of AI systems: role and risk classification, obligations per system, conformity assessment preparation, post-market monitoring.* Set up or chair AI governance boards and decision processes; settle classification, risk and human oversight questions with executives.* Define the reference architecture of AI governance controls with the engineers and platform teams, so that governance is enforced in the platform and produces its own evidence.* Extend governance to generative and agentic AI: model and vendor risk, evaluation standards, acceptable use, oversight of autonomous actions.* Lead and develop consultants; manage delivery and client relationships; support bids and proposals.## **Your profile*** 7+ years in AI, data or technology governance, risk or strategy, including several years leading engagements or teams, ideally in consulting.* Deep knowledge of the EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001 and NIST AI RMF, and of how they interact with the GDPR and sector regulation (e.g., DORA for banks, NIS2 and REMIT for energy).* AIGP certification or ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor credentials are highly valued.* A technical background in data science, ML engineering or architecture is a strong plus.* Proven ability to lead executive workshops, write policies that hold, and defend decisions in front of boards, auditors and regulators.* Experience building offers; excellent communication and presentation skills; fluent English, French or German is a plus.## **What You'll love about working here*** **Practical benefits:** yearly financial bonus, private medical care with Medicover with additional packages (e.g., dental, senior care, oncology) available on preferential terms, life insurance and access to NAIS benefit platform.* **Access to over 70 training tracks** with certification opportunities (e.g., GenAI, Excel, Business Analysis, Project Management) on our NEXT platform.
