Job summary

Sportradar is seeking a Staff Forward Deployed AI Engineer based in Warsaw to join a world-leading sports technology company. You will act as an internal consultant, partnering with departments to identify real problems, design AI solutions, and lead delivery of LLM and agentic systems from discovery to production.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering with business stakeholders.
• Strong communication with business and technical audiences.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently on ambiguous work.
• Navigate organisational complexity to deliver.
• Strong problem-finding and analytical skills; simplify complex processes.
• Experience building and operating production systems; strong design.
• Hands-on LLMs and agents experience; prompting, tooling, evaluation.
• Strong Python; data pipelines and cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Responsibilities

• Meet with department leads to understand current workflows and identify problems.
• Break down complexity into defined problems, scope and delivery plans.
• Streamline processes and decide where AI adds value.
• Navigate stakeholders to keep work moving and align priorities.
• Own technical strategy and architecture for internal engagements.
• Design and deliver production agentic and LLM systems with retrieval, tools, and observability.
• Define evaluations and monitoring to guide design choices.
• Mentor colleagues and share reusable patterns.
