Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a hands-on AI Engineer to design, build, and maintain conversational AI agents in cloud environments. The role involves enabling interactions via chat, voice, email, or APIs and integrating AI with corporate systems.

You will work with Python and ML frameworks, architect microservices, optimize models, and implement evaluation and feedback loops to ensure continuous improvement. A background in LangChain/LangGraph and cloud infrastructure is valued.

Qualifications

• Proficient Python development for AI model integration.
• 1–2 years hands-on Generative AI and LLMs experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and CI/CD.
• Background in ML engineering and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and launch scalable conversational AI systems across channels.
• Architect microservices and asynchronous systems for AI apps.
• Use Python to orchestrate models, tools, and workflows.
• Fine-tune models with LoRA and compare FT vs RAG approaches.
• Establish prompt engineering libraries and evaluation protocols.
• Design monitoring dashboards and human-in-the-loop feedback.
• Collaborate with data specialists to build data pipelines.
• Define CI/CD pipelines and cloud strategies for migrations.
