Job summary

Luxoft is developing a solution to generate investment insights using sales materials and research data. You will work with business teams, analysts and architects to translate requirements into robust backend systems and AI-powered features.

The role emphasizes delivering maintainable production-grade code, API design, and cloud-based delivery, with strong emphasis on GenAI and agents. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in peer reviews, and help drive SDLC

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong backend development experience with Python and maintainable production code.
• Production API design & delivery (FastAPI preferred), including versioning, documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger), and observability.
• Cloud experience (AWS preferred) beyond core compute/storage/DB—e.g., eventing, queues, serverless, logging/monitoring, secrets.
• Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines
• Debugging & problem-solving skills with strong ownership across the SDLC.
• Generative AI & ML requirements
• Experience building agents
• Vector databases and RAG patterns (indexing, chunking, embeddings, retrieval).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business team, analysts and architects to understand requirements and identify system changes.
• Work closely with development teams, designers, copy writers and other IT teams on a day-to-day basis.
• Develop and present recommendations from analysis of the current solution; assist in design peer reviews and unit tests.
• Provide solutions and designs to solve process, project or program issues; defend recommendations confidently.
• Communicate with business and technical audiences and produce design documents for multiple audiences.
