Archer Recruitment is assisting a globally recognised pharmaceutical leader in finding a Senior Agentic AI Engineer/Architect to own an enterprise-scale AI initiative from architecture to production. This hands-on leadership role emphasizes building production-grade Agentic AI in a complex, global enterprise environment.

You will drive end-to-end delivery, define scalable architectures, and mentor engineers while remaining deeply technical.

A globally recognised pharmaceutical leader is investing heavily in Agentic AI to transform how AI is applied across its manufacturing and wider business operations.

We’re looking for a Senior Agentic AI Engineer / Architect to take ownership of a major AI initiative from architecture through to production. This is a genuinely hands-on leadership position for someone who wants to build production-grade Agentic AI at enterprise scale, rather than spend their time working on POCs.

This is a long-term, multi-year requirement, offering the opportunity to become a key technical contributor to a significant AI transformation within one of the world's most established pharmaceutical organisations.

You will:

• Own the end-to-end delivery of production-grade Agentic AI solutions using technologies such as LangGraph, LangChain and modern LLM frameworks
• Define scalable architectures incorporating LLMs, RAG, multi-agent workflows, tools, memory, orchestration and evaluation
• Lead and mentor a team of AI/software engineers while remaining deeply involved in the technical implementation
• Take AI systems from 0 → 1 → production, with a strong focus on reliability, scalability and real-world business impact

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years' experience across software/Python engineering, with strong technical leadership or architecture experience
• Proven track record of taking Agentic AI solutions into production at meaningful scale
• Strong hands-on experience with LangGraph, LangChain and modern LLM architectures
• An entrepreneurial, 0 → 1 mindset with the ability to turn ambiguous problems into working production solutions
