Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer (Java + React) to join a client team building an AI-enabled platform for collateral and margin management in the investment banking sector. You will develop scalable back-end services with Java/Spring Boot and create high-performance front-end experiences with React/TypeScript, while integrating generative AI features and AI-assisted tooling.

You will mentor teammates, participate in code reviews, and ensure clean, secure coding standards across UI

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java (Java 11+) and Spring / Spring Boot.
• Strong hands-on experience with React, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Proven experience delivering full-stack features end to end, UI to backend and database.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding assistants.
• Knowledge of generative AI and prompt engineering, including integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
• Clean coding skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with agile practices (Scrum, Kanban) and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable back-end services and APIs using Java (Spring Boot).
• Build responsive, high-performance front-end applications using React and TypeScript.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to speed up delivery while maintaining quality and security.
• Design and integrate generative AI features, including prompt engineering and LLM API integration.
• Define and consume RESTful APIs and communicate requirements clearly across teams.
• Mentor teammates, lead code reviews and pair programming to raise technical level.
• Apply clean code practices and improve CI/CD tooling and processes.
• Write automated tests (unit/integration/e2e) for front-end and back-end.
• Participate in Scrum/Kanban ceremonies and collaborate with QA, product managers and architects.
• Support and evolve existing applications in a fast-paced investment-banking environment.
