Job summary

NVIDIA DGX Cloud invites a Senior Systems Software Engineer to join a team delivering scalable AI infrastructure, spanning Kubernetes, GPU Operator, DCGM, and distributed inference serving. You will drive end-to-end performance characterization and work with researchers and customers to stress-test real workloads.

You will design monitoring and analytics tools, debug ultra-large scale clusters, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and share findings at internal and community venues.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Computer Architecture, Networking, Storage and accelerators or equivalent
• Expertise in Kubernetes and familiarity with CNCF projects
• Experience with large-scale parallel and distributed accelerator-based systems
• Expertise optimizing performance and AI workloads on large-scale systems
• Experience with performance modeling and benchmarking at scale
• Proficiency in Golang/Python
• Background with NVIDIA software ecosystem in training and inference domains
• Experience with at least one public CSP infrastructure (GCP, AWS, Azure, OCI)

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end performance and scale characterization for the software stack from Kubernetes control planes through NVIDIA components
• Collaborate with AI researchers, developers and customers to create automated tests simulating real workloads
• Deep dive into performance and scale issues in distributed systems to identify root causes
• Design and develop monitoring, reporting and analysis tools for performance testing across software, GPU and CPU resources
• Triage, debug and resolve issues in ultra-large Kubernetes clusters
• Build and maintain a CI/CD framework enabling continuous performance testing
• Document research methodologies and results and present findings at internal/external venues including KubeCon and GTC
• Engage with upstream communities (Kubernetes, CNCF, NVIDIA OSS) to validate performance and scalability
