N-iX is seeking two AI Automation Engineers to automate and scale internal helpdesk operations using Generative AI, N8N, and AWS. You will design, build, and maintain production-grade AI systems that streamline support and issue resolution across teams.

The role blends prompt design, workflow automation, and cloud platform engineering to deliver reliable end-to-end automation with strong collaboration across Support, IT, and Engineering.

Qualifications

Job description

Our customer is the European online car market, serving over 30 million monthly users and present in 18 countries. We are looking for two AI Automation Engineers to join a fast-moving initiative focused on automating and scaling our internal helpdesk operations through Generative AI. In this role, you'll design, build, and maintain intelligent automation solutions that combine large language models, workflow orchestration, and cloud infrastructure - directly shaping how our internal teams get support and resolve issues faster.

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who is comfortable moving between prompt design, workflow automation, and cloud platform engineering, and who enjoys building production-grade AI systems rather than prototypes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable GenAI solutions using N8N and AWS.
• Develop and continuously enhance clients AI helpdesk bot built on N8N.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Support, IT, Engineering) to align automation solutions with business goals.
• Implement infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and observability practices to keep systems reliable and maintainable.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across integrated systems, ensuring smooth end-to-end automation flows.

Must Have

• 3+ Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, AI integration patterns, and MCPs (Model Context Protocol).
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI models and tools.
• Platform engineering experience with cloud expertise, preferably AWS.
• Practical experience with automation tools such as N8N.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset.
• Hands-on experience with Codex or similar.
• Experience automating workflows involving Jira and Slack.

Nice to Have

• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (CDK - written in TypeScript/Node.js, used to manage AWS services including Amazon Bedrock and Agent Core).
• Docker/Kubernetes familiarity is a plus, though this project does not currently define specific Kubernetes tasks.
• CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions.
• Experience automating workflows involving Okta and M365.
