Job summary

Vonage is seeking a senior AEM developer to lead design, development, and deployment of enterprise web applications using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.x and AEM as a Cloud Service). You will collaborate with product owners, UI/UX designers, and front-end engineers to deliver scalable, secure digital experiences across channels, with a focus on performance and architectural excellence.

Candidates should have 5+ years of software development and 3–5+ years hands-on AEM experience, strong Java

Qualifications

• 5+ years total software development experience.
• 3–5+ years hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.x and AEM as a Cloud Service).
• Deep understanding of AEM framework: Sling, OSGi, JCR, CRX.
• Proficiency in Touch UI components using Granite UI, HTL, Sling Models.
• Experience configuring Dispatcher, replication agents, cloud manager pipelines.
• Backend & frontend: Core Java/J2EE, RESTful services, enterprise patterns.
• DevOps: Maven, Webpack, Babel, Git, Jenkins, Adobe Cloud Manager.
• Unit testing with JUnit/Mockito.
• Agile/Scrum environment experience; strong communication.
• Adobe Certified Expert – AEM Sites Developer; headless content (AEM Content Services/GraphQL); Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of enterprise web apps using AEM.
• Collaborate with product owners, UI/UX designers, and frontend engineers.
• Build multi-site, multi-lingual, multi-channel publishing solutions with AEM.
• Guide migration to AEM Cloud Service and manage deployment pipelines.
• Integrate AEM with CRM, analytics, and content APIs.
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior-to-mid developers.
• Optimize performance, caching, and security compliance.
• Promote TDD and CI/CD practices in the team.
• Demonstrate AI agents/tools to improve productivity across the SDLC.
