Job summary

OSCE ODIHR is seeking a seasoned professional to advance gender equality and democratic governance across participating States. The role focuses on designing evidence-based programmes, conducting policy analysis, and leading advocacy at international platforms.

You will coordinate with ODIHR departments, the OSCE Secretariat, and external partners to maximize impact and ensure compliance with OSCE rules. Strong English and cross-cultural collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

  • First-level university degree in gender studies, social and political science, law, sociology, public administration or related fields.
  • Seven years of progressively responsible experience in gender equality and women's participation in politics, with international exposure.
  • Experience designing, planning and managing projects promoting gender equality.
  • Strong knowledge of international instruments promoting gender equality.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and delivering gender equality programmes: identify priorities, develop methodologies, manage implementation (including finances), and evaluate results.
  • Provide policy analysis: monitor and analyse public policy affecting women's rights and gender equality.
  • Lead knowledge and advocacy at OSCE and other fora: prepare inputs, agendas, and materials; coordinate speakers and briefings.
