Job summary

Huzzle is seeking experienced accountants who can write hard accounting problems to test frontier AI systems. You will craft prompts and accompanying rubrics, then evaluate model outputs with a reviewer’s eye. Prior data-annotation experience is required, and training will be provided.

The role is fully remote as an independent contractor, with an initial one-week trial powered by a 40-hour window from 7 to 13 October 2026. Strong written English and precision with numbers are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in accounting, bookkeeping or finance operations.
• Excellent written English and precision with numbers.

Responsibilities

• Write realistic accounting tasks covering month-end close, reconciliations, AR/AP, accruals and adjusting entries, sales tax, job costing.
• Create tasks that yield a working deliverable (spreadsheet, journal entry schedule, memo).
• Run prompts against frontier AI models and escalate difficulty to reveal gaps.
• Author a scoring rubric with objective, reusable criteria for reviewers.
