Job summary

Aristocrat is seeking a Senior Accountant – EMEA Gaming to join our Krakow finance team. You will ensure accurate financial records, support monthly and annual reporting, and contribute to cross-jurisdiction process improvements.

The role requires Chartered Accountant, 5+ years in finance, IFRS/GAAP expertise, and proficiency in Sage and D365 with advanced Excel, in a collaborative, proactive environment.

Qualifications

• Chartered/Certified Accountant or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years in a Finance role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Sage, D365 highly preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date records of financial transactions within the Sage ERP system.
• Prepare and execute payment runs across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring strict adherence to internal controls and company policies.
• Perform detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts, including bank, customer, supplier balances, accruals and GL accounts.
• Process payroll documentation and prepare payroll reports across applicable jurisdictions.
• Support month-end closing and the preparation of management accounts.
• Assist in preparing VAT/tax returns and other statutory reports.
• Assist in coordinating statutory and tax audits, including schedules and auditor responses.
• Collaborate with finance team to ensure alignment and efficiency across operations.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to other accountants.
