CloudFerro is a provider of cloud data processing services. It provides and supports cloud computing for specialized markets, including the European space industry, climate research and science.

It has extensive experience in storing and processing large data sets, including multi-petabyte Earth observation satellite data repositories. CloudFerro solutions are used by leading companies and scientific institutions in Europe from various market sectors that process large data sets: European Space Agency (ESA), EUMETSAT, European Center for Medium-Range Forecasts (ECMWF), Mercator Ocean International, German Aerospace Agency (DLR), EGI and many others.

Job Summary:

As a Senior Account Manager at CloudFerro, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of cloud infrastructure across the European space sector. This is not a simple sales role, it’s an opportunity to become the trusted advisor to organizations pushing the boundaries of space missions in general, and Earth Observation (EO) in particular. This position will work directly with key stakeholders of the European space industry and influence their approach to cloud services. Your focus will be on identifying mission-critical requirements and orchestrating end-to-end solutions allowing the customer to process massive datasets, run scalable applications and achieve faster time to market.

Success in this role will mean going beyond revenue targets, it means driving the adoption of a sovereign, sustainable and open digital infrastructure in one of the most advanced industries, whilst shaping strategic partnerships that strengthen Europe’s digital autonomy in space.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Account Management – Create and manage a portfolio of high value accounts across Europe and build a long-term relationship based on trust, technical credibility and innovation achievements. Meet or exceed revenue goals and defined targets whilst accelerating customer adoption,
  • Solutions Oriented Sales – Lead engagement with the customer key stakeholder and maintain a comprehensive account plan for each strategic customer and a generic sales approach for the other accounts. Align offering with clients’ processing, storage and AI needs, particularly for EO and satellite workflows,
  • Go-to-Market – Monitor and report on the industry main trends, future programs and innovation in general, liaise with the product team to escalate relevant requirements associated with large revenue increases. Support marketing in CloudFerro promotion through participation at trade shows, conferences and professional social media,
  • Sales Reporting – Maintain a comprehensive position on each customer’s activities, create and deliver regular reporting to manager and internal stakeholders.
Required qualifications:
  • Relevant experience in a client-facing sales role, including but not limited to market analytics and account planning,
  • Proven track record of managing complex sales and consistently delivering revenue results, contributing to customer satisfaction,
  • Proven interpersonal, team working skills with experience developing customer relationships and influence decision makers,
  • Excellent English presentation and communication skills,
  • Ability to use large datasets and define short- and long-term strategies based on these analytics,
  • Excellent organizational skills and capability to work autonomously or remotely with the ability to prioritize tasks and deliverables according to goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of an additional European language (French, Italian, German or Spanish),
  • Strong understanding of space, cloud or both domains,
  • Experience in HubSpot.
