Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking a Senior 3D Design Engineer – Piping & Layout to join our international engineering team. You will develop 3D models, design piping systems, and create detailed documentation for large-scale facilities.

Remote work is available with periodic on-site requirements in Norway. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the globe, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications throughout all project phases.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of piping and layout design experience.
• Experience delivering industrial/energy projects with piping systems.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D piping models and plant layouts.
• Design piping routes and detailed process installations per project specs.
• Produce drawings and model deliverables with clash-free coordination.
• Perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts across disciplines.
• Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Structural, Civil and Electrical teams.
• Participate in design reviews and project meetings.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards and client requirements.
• Support project execution through all engineering phases.
