Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a skilled Security Architect to lead threat modeling and architecture reviews across multiple product teams. You will champion secure-by-design practices, mentor architects, and act as a technical advisor to product owners and leadership in a fast-paced, agile environment.

You will collaborate with product and platform leaders, drive security architecture standards, and develop automation tooling using AI and Python to accelerate secure design decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 6+ years in information security including threat modeling and architecture assessments.
• Experience reviewing architectures in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong knowledge of security protocols and best practices.
• Foundation across network, IAM, and data security.
• Experience supporting agile product teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proven cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security review and assessment of technical solution architectures.
• Lead architecture threat modeling and document secure by design requirements.
• Define security patterns and standards; advise enterprise architects.
• Serve as the technical security advisor across teams, providing consulting on threat-informed security.
• Design security architecture processes and track metrics for continuous improvement.
• Act as an agile coach and culture champion in scrum ceremonies.
• Mentor other security architects and engineers.
• Build reusable automation tools and workflows using AI, Python, PowerApps, PowerAutomate.
