Job summary

McCormick & Company, Incorporated is seeking a SDS Specialist to lead the creation and approval of Safety Data Sheets for internal and external customers. You will collaborate across local and international teams to drive SDS projects and respond to customer requests.

The role emphasizes working with SAP-based processes, data auditing, KPI monitoring, and regulatory compliance. Fluency in English is required; other languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Health and Safety (or closely related field).
• Experience in the food industry or SDS related work experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety and health regulations; TSCA, DOT/IATA requirements.
• Familiar with GHS, REACH, CLP regulations.
• Able to work across functions and as part of a team.
• Organized, detail oriented and multitask capable.
• Proactive and flexible; strong oral and written communication.
• Advanced computer literacy (Excel, SAP, Outlook); English fluency; additional languages advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the Safety Data Sheets creation and approval for internal and external customers.
• Working cross-functionally and independently with various local and international departments to manage and act as a lead on SDS Projects and Customers requests.
• Dealing primarily with processes and systems (mainly SAP).
• Cooperating with stakeholders & customers. Leading projects.
• Monitoring KPIs, providing SLD & RFT reports, internal data auditing.
• Operational work based on business priorities.
