We are a cross-functional international team collaborating globally on a major insurance product with integrated e-billing functionality.

We are seeking a Scrum Master to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will facilitate Agile processes, foster collaboration across cross-functional teams, and ensure smooth delivery of high-quality products. The ideal candidate has proven experience leading teams in Agile environments, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of Scrum principles. Experience with conflict resolution, continuous improvement, and working closely with stakeholders is highly valued.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile development teams.
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and Lean principles.
  • Experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching teams on Agile methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and remove impediments.
  • Familiarity with Agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts, cycle time) and the ability to use them for team improvements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Trello).
  • Ability to influence without authority and build strong relationships within teams.
Job Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Coach and mentor the development team on Agile principles and Scrum best practices to improve efficiency and collaboration.
  • Remove obstacles and impediments that hinder team progress, ensuring smooth workflow and productivity.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging feedback loops and process enhancements.
  • Ensure effective backlog refinement, working closely with the Product Owner to prioritize work based on business value.
  • Promote self-organization and cross-functionality within the team, empowering members to take ownership of their work.
  • Track and analyze team performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for optimization.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring alignment on project goals.
  • Support multiple teams, if necessary, and ensure consistency in Agile adoption across the organization.
  • Encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing, helping to build a high-performing Agile environment.
