Job summary

ING Hubs Poland is seeking a Platform SAS Engineer to configure and maintain SAS components on the new platform, enabling smooth onboarding of models and reliable scoring workflows. You will collaborate with modelers and DevOps to deploy analytical and risk models, manage artefacts, and monitor services.

Strong English and eagerness to learn are essential as the platform evolves toward SAS Viya 4. This role also offers exposure to Azure, CI/CD patterns, and cross‑functional teamwork within ING's

Qualifications

• Experience administering SAS environments (SAS 9, SAS Viya 3.5 or similar).
• Configuring, operating and maintaining SAS components used by modelling teams.
• Support publishing, deploying and troubleshooting analytical or risk models.
• Proficient with SAS CLI, basic scripting and automation patterns.
• Knowledge of Azure and CI/CD concepts is a plus.
• Strong English communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain SAS components on the new platform.
• Support deployment and lifecycle of analytical and risk models.
• Manage SAS artefacts: libraries, caslibs, folders, access control.
• Troubleshoot model execution, data access or environment issues.
• Monitor SAS services and log analysis; propose improvements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies.
