Job summary

Eaton is seeking a senior ABAP developer in Warsaw to design, code, test and debug SAP-based applications on S4/HANA and ECC. You will review technical specs, participate in code reviews and collaborate with Product and Platform owners to translate business requirements into robust solutions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Transform business function requirements into technical program specs to code, test and debug programs.
• Perform Technical Spec and Code reviews.
• Actively engage with Product / Platform owners, Users, System Analysts, Architects, PMs and Development Engineers in reviewing and analyzing requirements/user stories.
• Act as the technical expert, ensuring quick turnaround in identifying application issues and providing timely solutions.
• Ensure compliance to Eaton standard processes (Scrum Guide, Agile Values & Principles, DevOps, ITSM and tools) to bring consistency in deployment of developed solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Strong ABAP experience working on S4 Hana / ECC
• Strong object orientation experience
• Perform Technical Spec and Code reviews

Skills

• Strong ABAP knowledge
• Minimum of 9 years of hands-on experience in ABAP programming language including object oriented programming model on S4 and ECC platforms. This includes and is not limited to Forms Programming (SAPscript, SMARTforms, Adobe forms) and Event driven approach(Event Mesh / Advance Event Mesh)
• Ideally functional and technical knowledge in GTS
• Hands-on experience in CharM for change management processes
