Whitehall Resources Ltd is seeking a Senior SAP SD/MM Tax Consultant for a contract starting November 2026. The role focuses on SAP SD/MM with heavy emphasis on indirect taxes, VAT across EU, and SAP S/4HANA tax determination. You will work within an international programme and coordinate with FI integration.

The position requires senior SAP SD/MM and tax expertise, ABAP debugging, and experience with external tax engines like ONESOURCE or Sovos. English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SAP SD/MM implementation.
• Two full project lifecycles as SAP SD/MM consultant.
• Experience integrating SD/MM with FI.
• Expert knowledge of SAP Indirect Tax and EU tax rules.
• Strong S/4HANA tax determination experience.
• Experience with external tax engines (ONESOURCE or Sovos).
• ABAP debugging for tax calculations and interfaces.
• Experience with real-time tax reporting and SAF-T.
• FI knowledge is desirable.
• Excellent communication and problem solving; fluent English.

Responsabilités

• Design automated tax determination logic within SAP S/4HANA.
• Manage tax integration across SAP SD, MM, and FI.
• Configure integrations between SAP and external tax engines.
• Translate tax and legal requirements into SAP solutions.
• Support statutory, e-invoicing, and digital reporting needs.
• Lead unit testing, SIT, and UAT for tax changes.
• Troubleshoot production issues in tax calculations and interfaces.
• Deliver SAP SD and Tax enhancements in Scrum.

Senior SAP SD/MM Consultant A Senior SAP SD/MM Tax Consultant is required from November 2026 for a contract engagement with one of our leading clients, supporting an international SAP S/4HANA programme.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on SAP SD/MM implementation experience
• At least two full project lifecycles as an SAP SD/MM Functional Consultant
• Proven experience integrating SAP SD/MM with FI
• Expert knowledge of SAP Indirect Tax, including VAT/GST configuration and complex EU tax requirements
• Strong SAP S/4HANA tax determination experience, including condition technique
• Experience integrating external tax engines such as ONESOURCE or Sovos
• ABAP debugging skills to troubleshoot complex tax calculation and interface issues
• Experience with digital/statutory reporting, including real-time reporting and SAF-T
• SAP FI knowledge is highly desirable
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Fluent English is essential

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver automated tax determination logic within SAP S/4HANA

• Configure and maintain integration's between SAP and external tax engines
• Translate complex tax and legal requirements into functional SAP solutions
• Support local statutory, e-invoicing and digital reporting requirements
• Lead Unit Testing, SIT and UAT for tax-related changes
• Troubleshoot complex production issues involving tax calculations, interfaces and e-invoice submissions
• Deliver ongoing SAP SD and Tax enhancements within a Scrum environment

Candidates should be able to demonstrate a strong combination of SAP SD/MM functional expertise and specialist Indirect Tax knowledge, particularly across EU VAT, S/4HANA tax determination, FI integration and external tax engines.
