Job summary

Gramian Consultancy is partnering with a global industrial leader to drive SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management transformation. The Business Process Owner will bridge business teams and SAP/delivery units, focusing on process readiness, workshop facilitation, requirements clarification and post-Go-Live support.

The contract is a freelance/contractor rolling engagement for 3 months, with locations in Budapest or Warsaw.

Qualifications

• Strong SAP TM expertise and experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
• Experience in multi-country or multi-site transportation/logistics deployments.
• Background in change management, user adoption and training.

Responsibilities

• Lead business readiness for SAP TM deployment.
• Align local teams with Core Model / Global Template.
• Facilitate Fit-to-Template / Fit-to-Standard workshops.
• Perform process mapping and gap analysis across transportation workflows.
• Gather and translate business requirements for SAP / Digital teams.
• Coordinate with logistics, supply chain, site stakeholders and SAP delivery teams.
• Support testing, UAT, cutover, Go-Live and hypercare.

They are currently undergoing one of the most significant ERP and operational technology transformations in their industry to modernize systems, improve efficiency, and enable next-generation operations.

We are looking for an experienced Business Process Owner with strong SAP Transportation Management (TM) expertise to act as the bridge between Business teams and SAP / Digital delivery teams. The role focuses on process readiness, Fit-to-Template workshops, gap analysis, requirements clarification, UAT, cutover, Go-Live, and post-Go-Live support across transportation planning and execution processes.

CONTRACT: Freelance / contractor assignment, 3 months rolling contract

LOCATIONS: Budapest or Warsaw

Responsibilities

• Lead business readiness for SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management deployment.
• Align local teams with the program’s Core Model / Global Template.
• Prepare and facilitate Fit-to-Template / Fit-to-Standard workshops.
• Perform process analysis, process mapping, and gap analysis across transportation workflows.
• Gather and clarify business requirements and translate them into actionable inputs for SAP / Digital teams.
• Coordinate closely with logistics, supply chain, site stakeholders, and SAP delivery teams.
• Support testing, UAT, cutover, Go-Live, and hypercare activities.
• Contribute to change management, user adoption, and training.
• Identify business-readiness risks and process gaps before deployment.
• Capture and share best practices across rollout locations.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
• Background in multi-country or multi-site transportation / logistics deployments.
• Experience with change management, user adoption, and training.
• Strong exposure to process standardization and business transformation.
• Knowledge of integration between TM and adjacent areas such as SD, MM, EWM, Supply Chain, and Finance.
