Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the internal IT team in transitioning to the next-generation SAP ERP system: S/4HANA, including upcoming HANA migrations (S/4H4).
  • Advise and support our business units in designing and implementing innovative, customized SAP solutions within the HCM area, focusing on Payroll and HR Management processes.
  • Take responsibility for the entire development lifecycle—from requirements gathering, design, and implementation to ensuring stable, productive operation of solutions.
  • Implement SAP solutions through customizing, functional testing, training, etc., aligned with our global harmonization initiatives.
  • Participate actively in cross-functional working groups and communities of practice to help shape our technological foundations.
  • Collaborate with internal development teams to integrate adjacent systems via interfaces.
  • Conduct training sessions to educate our key user community.
  • Support and enhance existing business processes by resolving support tickets, incidents, and small change requests, while contributing to process improvement and harmonization.
  • Monitor and manage external service providers involved in implementation projects.
Qualifications
  • Completed university studies in HR, International Business, Business Informatics, or a similar field, or equivalent qualification.
  • Preferably 3 years of professional experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience configuring SAP HCM, Time Management, and Payroll (Germany and Switzerland).
  • Knowledge of application and integration with other SAP and non-SAP solutions.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work effectively in international, matrix organizations across different business groups and divisions.
  • Analytical thinking skills with the ability to work independently and systematically.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially in translating technical solutions into business language.
  • Experience with HANA projects in the HR area is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in English and German (B2/C1 level).
