Job summary

EY GDS Poland is seeking an experienced SAP FI/CO Senior Consultant to join its Consulting Services team in Poland. You will support clients on IT transformation journeys, delivering SAP solutions for global organizations using SAP FI/CO, S/4HANA and related Finance processes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in SAP FI/CO modules (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, DRC, PS, RE-FX, Treasury)
• Experience in end-to-end SAP implementations, preferably S/4HANA
• Understanding of financial business processes and integration with other SAP modules
• Good English communication skills (verbal and written)

The opportunity

We are looking for an experienced SAP FI/CO Senior Consultant to join our EY GDS Consulting Services team. In this role, you will support clients in navigating complex IT transformation journeys by delivering cutting-edge SAP solutions tailored to leading global organizations.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Support clients in end-to-end IT transformation programs with a focus on SAP Finance (FI/CO)
• Contribute to implementation projects, including greenfield, brownfield, and S/4HANA system conversions
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to design and deliver scalable SAP solutions aligned with business requirements
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement using SAP best practices
• Contribute to project delivery using different methodologies (e.g., Agile, SAP Activate)
• Support testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities to ensure smooth system transitions
• Readiness to participate in SAP Consulting implementation projects with a focus on developing new solutions and expanding system functionalities within the scope of R&D activities
• Hands-on approach to collaborating with R&D teams to identify and implement best practices and new SAP solutions that may enhance the efficiency of business processes
• Willingness to report the progress of R&D projects and documenting the results of implementations, as well as post-implementation review

Skills And Attributes For Success

• Functional Expertise - strong knowledge of SAP FI/CO processes with hands-on experience in S/4HANA projects
• Project Delivery & Methodology - proven experience in supporting end-to-end implementations (greenfield, brownfield, conversions) using methodologies such as Agile or SAP Activate
• Stakeholder & Communication Skills - ability to effectively collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, translate requirements into solutions, and communicate clearly

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Hands-on experience in at least one of the SAP FI/CO sub-modules: FI (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting), Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC), PS, RE-FX, or Treasury
• Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP implementation project, preferably within an S/4HANA environment
• Understanding of financial business processes and their integration with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM)
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into system solutions
• Good English communication skills (verbal and written)

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience across multiple FI/CO areas
• German language skills are an advantage
• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset
