Job summary

HCLTech is seeking an SAP FICO Support Specialist to maintain and optimize our SAP Finance and Controlling environments. You will resolve incidents, support critical processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure production stability.

The role requires strong SAP FICO expertise, S/4HANA experience, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Multinational enterprise exposure and ITIL familiarity are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in IT production support projects.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP FICO modules.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting S/4HANA environments.
• At least 3 years of SAP experience supporting General Ledger plus other SAP finance modules.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end support for SAP FICO modules in a production environment.
• Assist business users in resolving functional issues and ensure excellent service.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis for recurring problems and implement preventive measures.
• Collaborate with business, technical teams, and management to communicate status and plans.
• Support General Ledger and at least three additional SAP finance modules.
• Participate in continuous improvement to optimize SAP FICO processes.

Overview of the Role:

As an SAP FICO Support Specialist at HCLTech, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation and optimization of our SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) environments. Your expertise will be essential in resolving system issues, supporting critical business processes, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver robust IT production support. Your contributions will directly impact business continuity and enhance the financial systems that drive the company's global operations.

Detailed Responsibilities:

• Provide end-to-end support for SAP FICO modules, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests in a production support environment.
• Assist business users in addressing and resolving functional issues independently, delivering exceptional customer service.
• Conduct thorough Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring or complex problems, recommend effective solutions, and implement preventive measures.
• Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and management to communicate issue status, resolution plans, and system enhancements clearly and effectively.
• Support core SAP FICO functions, including General Ledger, and at least three of the following: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, Inter-company Accounting, and Project System.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize SAP FICO processes, improve service delivery, and align with industry best practices.

Skill Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in IT production support projects.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP FICO modules.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting S/4HANA environments.
• At least 3 years of SAP experience specifically supporting General Ledger, plus significant experience in at least three additional SAP finance-related modules (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, etc.).
• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and resolving SAP-related issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.

Other Requirements:

• SAP Certification in FICO or S/4HANA modules is highly desirable.
• Experience working in a multinational or large-scale enterprise environment.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
