What to Expect

As SAP EWM EMEA Team Lead, you will play a key role in designing, implementing and continuously improving SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions within a global manufacturing environment. Working closely with Global Process Owners, regional business teams and IT, you will help shape global processes, master data and SAP standards in an on-premise SAP S/4HANA landscape. This role combines technical SAP EWM expertise with strong business process knowledge and the opportunity to lead the adoption of standardized solutions through global implementation and rollout projects.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Lead, develop and manage the SAP EWM team, including resource planning and recruitment for permanent and contract roles.
  • Drive the design, configuration and continuous improvement of the global SAP EWM template in close collaboration with Global Process Owners, business stakeholders and IT teams.
  • Own and optimize core SAP EWM processes, including inbound/outbound logistics, warehouse structure, inventory management, RF processes, warehouse transfers, and integration with SAP SD and PP.
  • Ensure governance and compliance with SAP CoE standards across projects, enhancements and support activities, maintaining the integrity of the global template.
  • Lead SAP EWM deployments across EMEA, coordinating cross-functional teams of internal experts, business stakeholders and external consultants to deliver successful implementations and ongoing support.
  • Act as the key technical and functional expert for SAP EWM, supporting business transformation and standardization initiatives across the organization.

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Lead the EWM team
  • Leads projects with notable risk and complexity; develops the strategy for project execution.
Requirements And Preferred Skills
  • 11-15 years of professional experienc with 6 -8+ years of experience in a global IT Center of Excellence (CoE) environment.
  • Extensive hands‑on SAP EWM experience in enterprise-wide SAP environments (SAP S/4HANA preferred).
  • Experience delivering at least 3 full-cycle ERP implementation and Go-Live projects in multinational manufacturing environments.
  • Strong expertise in SAP implementation methodologies, process design, system configuration and data migration.
  • Manufacturing experience, including integration with Sales Operations, Finance and Supply Chain.
  • Proven Team Lead experience managing internal teams and external partners across multiple sites and countries.
  • Experience working within complex global IT organizations and driving global process standardization.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or business discipline.
  • Experience integrating SAP EWM with non-SAP ERP systems is a plus.
  • Experience with MES, Loftware, NiceLabel or similar operational systems is an advantage.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and continuously develop your expertise.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
