Job summary

Ubique Systems is seeking an SAP EWM ABAP Technical Consultant with strong hands-on ABAP and EWM technical object experience. The role is purely technical and requires working with ABAP, interfaces and CDS/OData while supporting TM processes.

The position is hybrid with approximately 10 days per month at the client site and requires EU citizenship or EU permanent residency. You will collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure quality delivery.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support ABAP solutions for SAP EWM, incl. enhancements, integrations and warehouse developments.
• Participate in technical fit-gap analysis and high-level design.
• Develop and enhance EWM/TM technical objects including enhancements, BAdIs and reports.
• Create interfaces: IDocs, RFCs, Proxies; build OData services and CDS views.
• ABAP OO programming and performance optimisation; Adobe Forms for labels and docs.
• RF framework enhancements and screens; inbound/outbound process support.
• Provide technical support for EWM processes: put-away, picking, packing, HU, wave, labor, yard.
• Support SAP TM processes: freight order lifecycle, planning, settlement, carrier integration.
• Validate solutions against requirements; support UAT, defect resolution and go-live.
• Prepare technical specs, docs and training materials; collaborate with clients to deliver on time.

Role Overview

We are looking for a SAP EWM ABAP Technical Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in ABAP development and SAP EWM technical objects.

This is a purely technical role. Candidates with primarily functional or techno-functional SAP EWM experience should not be submitted.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support ABAP solutions for SAP EWM, including enhancements, integrations and warehouse execution developments.
• Participate in technical fit-gap analysis, solution feasibility assessments, high-level design and effort estimation.
• Develop and enhance EWM/TM technical objects, including:
• Enhancements, BAdIs, User Exits and custom reports
• Interfaces, IDocs, RFCs and Proxies
• OData services and CDS Views
• ABAP OO and performance optimisation
• Adobe Forms for labels, delivery and warehouse documents
• RF Framework enhancements and screens
• Provide technical support for EWM processes including:
• Inbound/Outbound
• Put-away and Picking
• Packing and Handling Unit (HU) Management
• Wave Management
• Labour/Resource Management
• Yard Management
• Physical Inventory
• Provide technical support for SAP TM processes, including Freight Order lifecycle, planning/execution, charge calculation, settlement, carrier integration and event handling.
• Validate technical solutions against business requirements and support UAT, defect resolution and go-live/hyper-care activities.
• Prepare and maintain technical specifications, support documentation and training materials.
• Work directly with clients and stakeholders to ensure quality delivery within agreed timelines.
